Tadah! Another picture of the 100 theme challenge: This is for theme 66 - Traps
Well, it is the 38th picture for the challenge, and it's an old one.
It's Eio Drukk argueing with the Captain about their further approach to a dangerous situation. Captain Kechangany (the one on the right) prefers a diplomatic solution which involves politics while Eio wants with his head straight through the wall - he is sick of waiting and reasoning!
Heavy use of adjusment layers, dodge and burn tool, soften and smudge tool and those other things you get with drawing digitally. I had an aversion using these for a long time - somebody told me using this tools wasn't art in any kind and that I should stay with "normal" tools like brush and eraser. Even although I thought - and still think - that this was total nonsense somehow I sticked to this. Lately my opinion changed and I told myself that one should use the possibilities that digital drawing offers beyond the normal use of brush and eraser and I'm happy with it. Now I can not even understand why these sentences burned so deep in my brain, because they are absoutely nonsense!

Well, it is the 38th picture for the challenge, and it's an old one.
This one went really quick, it only took me one weekend (and that is really quick for me!), but it rested on my computer for quite a while (since November), until now.
Always I wanted to draw a picture which looks like taken from a tv screen, with those black bars and captions like in a subtitled movie, and here it is! Image size

Waaah, you did it!!! You submited something on dA! Great! I so love your pictures and without chatting in Skype I would see your awesome work only every half a year, when we meet each other! 
I'm really a big fan of Eio but I think Captain Kechangany is a really handsome guy, too. I always thought that Eio is the one who said that line! I don't know why... Very interesting to understand the context now
And I agree with you: Using the tools which are given by Photoshop is clever. I don't give a shit about this stupid voices any longer. They may avoid adjustment layers, dodge and burn tool, and all the other great stuff on Photoshop, but they can not decide for all artists what is art and what is not! And it is so much work to do a picture like yours though using this helping tools. Yeah, a weekend is quick but it is lots of your freetime!
